Shukurov Tofig Zakir oglu (1964-1992) was born in 1964 in Karkijahan. He had secondary education. Since 1988, he worked as a brigade-leader of the construction gang in Shusha. As one of the defenders of the native land, he always took part in the operations of Shusha and Karkijahan fighters.
On the night of December 28, 1991, he had gone to Shusha and when he was returning home the ambushed Armenians ruthlessly killed him in the place called Qayabashy. On January 17, 1992, his corpse was found and buried in the cemetery of Shusha. He was single.
